Season Coming To A Close

As the regular season begins its final week, we'd like to say congratulations to our Seniors who were celebrated last Tuesday night before playing a highly competitive game vs. St. Francis. Although the Varsity team wound up losing 11-10 after going into overtime, these ladies played their hearts out! In a pre-game ceremony, Alex Stokes, Naomi Pai, Jada Ashen, Sarah Ketsdever and Saige Albrecht were individually recognized for their accomplishments both in and out of the pool. Your Rio water polo family wishes you nothing but the best in all of your future endeavors. Earlier in the evening, the JV squad smashed the Troubies with a final score of 14-4! It has been inspiring to watch this team come together and have so much success! Wednesday evening the Raiders traveled to take on Christian Brothers. Both teams ended the night with a victory. Junior varsity walked away a winner with a score of 7 to 4 and varsity edged out the Falcons by one point with a final score of 6 to 5.
